Appel à candidatures 2011 - Call for Applications Théophile Legrand International Award For Textile Innovation 2011
La Fondation Théophile Legrand - Institut de France, créée en 2007 à l’initiative de Christian Cambier et présidée par le chancelier de l’Institut de France, Gabriel de Broglie, a lancé le « Prix International Théophile Legrand de l’Innovation Textile 2011 ». Il s’agit du plus important Prix International de l’innovation textile. Le premier prix de 10 000 € et le second de 8 000 € récompenseront deux chercheurs qui auront inventé une nouvelle fibre textile et des procédés novateurs de production industrielle textile.
Les prix 2011 seront remis le samedi 1er octobre à 16h30, à l’auditorium du Bol Vert à Trélon (59).
Les dossiers de candidatures devront être rédigés en français ou en anglais. Ils devront être envoyés au plus tard, par courriel, le 07 août 2011 à : theophile-legrand@hotmail.fr
Les dossiers devront inclure les pièces suivantes :
- Une lettre de candidature
- Un curriculum vitae détaillé du candidat
- Une notice de présentation des travaux réalisés et/ou des projets de recherche (5 pages maximum)
- S’il y a lieu, une liste des publications rendant compte des travaux déjà effectués (rapports, articles, ouvrages…)

Call for Applications 2011
The Théophile Legrand - Institut de France Foundation, created in 2007 by Christian Cambier and chaired by the Chancellor of the Institut de France, Gabriel de Broglie, launched the “Théophile Legrand International Textile Innovation 2011 Award”, the leading international challenge of its kind in terms of prize money ! With a total prize fund of €18,000 (€10,000 for the winner and €8,000 for the runnerup), the purpose of these two awards is to salute the efforts of researchers who have either invented a new original textile fibre or a new industrial textile manufacturing processes. Awards for 2011 will be given on saturday, october 1th at 4:30 PM, in the auditorium of the Bol Vert in Trélon (59 - France).
Applications should be either in French or in English, and must be sent by August 7, 2011 to E-mail : theophile-legrand@hotmail.fr
Application should contain :
- application letter
- detailed résumé of applicant
- presentation and summary of achieved work and/or research projects (5pages max.)
-if applicable, a bibliography of published documents on achieved projects (reports, articles, books, etc)
Warning, the prize-winners of the previous Award cannot compete to the Award of the Textile Innovation 2011.
