An enhanced selection of candidates and prizewinners 2015
The selection of candidates and winners will now take place in four steps:
- Verification of applications eligibility by the coordinator of the 2015 Price before January 31, 2015
- Introduction of candidates to an experts committee chaired by the Union des Industries Textiles in early February 2015
- Selection of the prizewinners by the jury chaired by Dominique and Christian Cambier on March 4, 2015
- Validation of the winners by the Board of Directors of the Théophile Legrand Foundation - Institut de France, chaired by the Chancellor of the Institut de France on March 9, 2015
The expert committee will comprise:
- A representative of the Union of Textile Industries
- An official of AUTEX (Association of Universities for Textiles: Europe / China / USA / Russia / Japan / Australia / Pakistan)
- A technician of CLUBTEX (Group of technical textile industry in France and Belgium)
- Representatives of IFTH (French Institute of Textiles and Clothing), French textile Clusters, the European Technology Platform of Textile- clothing...
The jury will consist of:
- Dominique and Christian Cambier, founders of the Théophile Legrand Foundation - Institut de France
- One or two members of the Foundation
- A representative of the Institute of France
- The President or the Chief Executive of the Union of Textile Industries
- The Experts Committee
- The President of CLUBTEX
- The director of the IFM (French Fashion Institute)
- Heads of French textile engineers schools laboratories (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles Roubaix, The Lille School of Advanced Engineering Studies, the Technical and Chemical Institute of Lyon, The National School of Advanced Engineering of Southern Alsace, The University of Haute Alsace in Mulhouse, The technical and chemical Institute of Lyon) and the University of Gent - textile department in Belgium
- An official of the ecomuseum of the Avesnois- Fourmies (F-59)
